About the Principal

  • Tinisa Huff

     

    Tinisa Huff is the Principal at Betsy Ross Primary Elementary School. She has been an educator for 16 years and has taught multiple grade levels and all content areas. Tinisa worked in the Chicago Public School district prior to coming to the Forest Park School District in 2012, where she taught 7th grade English Language Arts. In 2015, she became the Assistant Principal of Forest Park Middle School where she has worked for the past five years.

    Tinisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Illinois State University, a Master’s Degree from DePaul University in Elementary Education and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Administration and Supervision from National Louis University. She is passionate about working with children and their families to help them to reach their full potential. During her free time, Tinisa enjoys watching her three year old son Tristan discover the world as well decorating, reading, listening to music, traveling and shopping.

    She is a life-long learner that aspires to inspire others.
