About the Assistant Principal

Greetings to all in District 91! My name is Eric Beltran, and I am excited to serve as your Assistant Principal at Field-Stevenson and Forest Park Middle School!

This year marks my 22nd year in Education. I taught for 17 years as a music teacher and band director in Private Education, spending the bulk of those years at Nazareth
Academy in LaGrange. After my tenure at Nazareth Academy, I went on to become Dean of Students at my Alma Mater, St. Joseph High School in Westchester, IL and
for the past four years served as Dean and Assistant Principal in Cicero District 99.  I was raised in Westchester, IL attending Divine Infant Grade School, St. Joseph High School, and DePaul University. I received my Masters in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music and a second Masters in School Leadership from
    Concordia University.

I love watching all sorts of sports. I was a soccer player that morphed into a two-time state champion power lifter! Some of the teams I follow are Liverpool FC, White
Sox, and Pittsburgh Steelers! In addition to my love of sports, I like to read, play thetrumpet or piano, spend time outside on a run or bike ride, and push the heavy iron
in the weight room.  I am a father of two girls, Julia and Natalie, and have enjoyed 20 years of marriage with my beautiful and wonderful wife, Joanna. We currently live in Elmhurst with our faithful King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Charlie!

I am looking forward to working alongside Dr. Brunson, the wonderful staff, students and families of Forest Park so together, we can make this year an
    AWESOME year!

    WE ARE DISTRICT 91!
