About the Principal
Dr. Tiffany S. Brunson earned a B.S. in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign; she received an M.S. in Educational Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Loyola University also in Chicago. Before coming to District 91 Dr. Brunson was a special education teacher in Chicago and in Oak Park. She has served in many capacities in the Chicago Public Schools, one of her proudest accomplishments is being a founding Administrator of V.O.IS.E. Academy High School. For the past 5 years she has been the principal of Field-Stevenson Intermediate Center. Go Sharks! She is also a United States Army Veteran, where she proudly served in the Desert Storm Conflict. Dr. Brunson has dedicated her life to improving the lives of children, educating, guiding and inspiring them to aspire to become the leaders of tomorrow. She is helping young people find their voices, engage in self-discovery, live well and believes that each of us possess the ability to leave behind a great legacy. She is an avid reader, music lover and concert goer. She practices yoga, promotes living a healthy and fit life. She is also the devoted wife of Ahmaad and proud mom to 3 year old Easton. When not working she and her family enjoy traveling and exploring the world!
