Forest Park School District 91 hosted its Fall Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, October 2, at Forest Park Middle School. Thank you to all the families, students, and community members who joined us for an engaging evening of listening, collaboration, and idea-sharing to help guide our next Strategic Plan.
Throughout the discussion, families shared thoughtful feedback about district programs and priorities. Parents expressed interest in building stronger connections with Proviso Township High Schools to help students transition successfully and inform families about the student experience at either Proviso East and Proviso Math & Sciences Academy. Many also voiced appreciation for the district’s ongoing support with school supplies, field trips, and free breakfast and lunch programs, which help ensure every student has what they need to succeed.
Another key theme was technology—families shared a desire for a clearer understanding of the digital tools and platforms students use during the school day, along with more guidance on how to support learning at home.
Next Steps:
District administration will now combine insights from this Fall Town Hall with feedback gathered from the community event and staff discussions held in May 2025. This input will shape the development of D91’s new Strategic Plan, which will be presented to the Board of Education for approval in Spring 2026.
If you were unable to attend, we still welcome your feedback! Please complete our Town Hall feedback survey to share your thoughts and help shape the future of D91.
