Dear Forest Park District 91 Families and Staff,
I am proud to share that the Illinois State Board of Education has released the 2025 Illinois Report Card, and every school in Forest Park School District 91 earned a Commendable designation. This recognition reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the strong partnership we share with our families. Together, we have created schools where students are growing academically, building confidence, and thriving socially and emotionally.
Across the district, our schools demonstrated many reasons to celebrate:
Betsy Ross Elementary earned perfect ELA and math proficiency scores of 100, along with strong reading growth of 83.21, showing a strong foundation in early learning.
Garfield Elementary achieved perfect math proficiency of 100 and outstanding ELA growth of 92.49, reflecting strong achievement across subjects and the commitment to high quality instruction.
Field-Stevenson Intermediate earned perfect ELA proficiency of 100, high math proficiency of 89.15, and a perfect school climate score of 100, showing both academic excellence and a caring, supportive environment.
Forest Park Middle School showed exceptional ELA proficiency of 100 and growth of 81.55, steady math progress, and strong science proficiency of 90.59, demonstrating readiness for high school and beyond.
Each year, the state categorizes schools into five designations; Exemplary, Commendable, Targeted Support, Comprehensive Support, and Intensive Support. Schools earning a Commendable designation, like ours, demonstrate strong performance and growth for all students, with no student groups performing at the lowest levels statewide.
As we celebrate these successes, I also want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance. Every day in school matters. Attendance also plays a key role in how our schools are measured by the state and directly impacts the learning experience for all. Thank you for partnering with us to make sure students are at school, on time, and ready to learn each day.
With gratitude,
Dr. Hubbird
Interim Superintendent
Forest Park School District 91
